It may be the beginning of December, but if you haven’t finished your holiday shopping, you’re fast-approaching some shipping deadlines from prominent retailers. While I don’t usually promote shopping on Amazon if you can avoid it (emissions, ethical production, fair labor issues, the list goes on…), I do understand the need for convenience in some instances. If you’re going to shop on a site like Amazon, you might at least consider shopping for eco-friendly or sustainable products. I’ve listed ten below that would work for almost anyone left on your shopping list!
1. The Stanley Quencher Travel Tumbler
Move over hockey, there’s been a new Stanley Cup in town for quite some time. For obvious reasons, I’m all about reusable drink containers, but I am guilty of using a cute new reusable water bottle for short periods of time and kind of forgetting about it. However, since switching to the Stanley, this thing comes with me everywhere. Literally. Comes in a bunch of colors and it’s dishwasher safe – hallelujah. Find it here.
2. Bombas Socks
Am I the only one who actually started asking for socks on my Christmas list as I got older? Well when they come at this price, it just tends to be something I don’t want to spend my own money on and when you find great socks, I’m telling you, it makes a difference. Nothing beats a pair of Bombas. I’m a big runner and I find myself reaching for these over almost any others in the drawer when I know I want something that won’t slip in my sneakers.
3. Drunk Elephant Gift Set
I personally started using Drunk Elephant products because of their philosophy on removing six “suspicious” ingredients from their formulas (essential oils, silicones, dyes, etc.). Any beauty guru in your life would appreciate this “Drunk Break” gift set with trial-sized products offering a full skin reset.
4. Zero Waste Starter Kit
Have someone in your life is who is interested in using more sustainable or eco-friendly products? I love this starter kit idea where you can try out a few products like stainless steel straws or reusable food storage bags, and see which are easiest to fully integrate into your life. Creating a more sustainable lifestyle doesn’t happen overnight, and this is an easy way to get started making small changes.
5. Candle Warmer Lamp
Did you know that burning candles can expose your household to potentially hazardous chemicals and smoke pollution? This candle warmer allows you to melt the wax of a candle, making your home smell great, without potential fire or health hazards. Plus, it’s adorable!
6. Pura Smart Fragrance Diffuser
Another alternative to burning candles is a diffuser. I received a Pura diffuser as a gift and LOVE it. You can switch out fragrances that you’re familiar with from brands like NEST and Capri Blue (say hello to your home smelling like Anthropologie 24/7 🙌🏻), set a schedule or timer for runtime, and the brand is committed to using responsibly sourced, clean ingredients and partnering with scent brands that meet their strict, clean fragrance standards.
7. Cozy Earth Bamboo Pullover and Jogger Pants
Picked as one of Oprah’s favorite things, this set from Cozy Earth is made from ethically and sustainably sourced Bamboo, and is intended to help you not sweat in bed. You can buy the pullover and joggers separately on Amazon, and they sell home products like this towel or sheet set too!
8. Rosie Jane Clean Fragrance
Is someone on your shopping list in search of a new fragrance? This perfume by Rosie Jane comes in five personalized scents and its minimalist packaging design makes it something I wouldn’t mind leaving out on my bathroom counter. Rosie Jane uses 100% recyclable paper packaging made sustainably, and the products are free of parabens, phthalates, BHT, and are always cruelty-free.
9. LeStoff Turkish Towels
Need a way to tell someone you’re gifting them a vacation? Always loved the idea of hinting at an experience gift with something tangible. Or maybe someone you know has just been eyeing Turkish towels. Either way, these beautiful LeStoff turkish towels are 100% organic cotton and meeting GOTS standards, the many options for color ways make them a great gift.
10. Conscious Step Socks that Save Dogs
Yes, more socks. But who can’t use socks?! And these socks actually save dogs. Conscious Step is a brand that allows you to choose a cause that you care about and buy products that support exactly that, all while producing sustainable and eco-friendly goods. These socks specifically support the Best Friends Animal Society – a nonprofit I will gladly support.
